Happiness

Since time immemorable,we have been heavily exposed to the term "Happily ever after", "True Happiness" and all of that sort.Of course, everyones target in life would somehow or rather be targeted at achieving happiness. We live realize our dreams,we realize our dreams to achieve happiness.

My term of choice today is heavily dependant upon all the other terms that I have introduced before.Happiness is defined as a temporary state of freedom from our desires.Having said that, true happiness can never be achieved as freedom itself is limited by the cyclicity of human desires. It would be pessimistic to accept such an idea. But then again, human beings can never be satisfied with what they have.Happiness, as pure as it comes can never be lived, savoured and kept for long.

People would give anything to achieve their definition of happiness.Either their "happiness " means something as simple as performing well in exams,or winning a million dollar lottery, people would go to any limits to grab it.There are many who would go beyond the limits defined by norms and taboo to get what they want. However,it is rather amusing  to re-introduce the idea of ephemerality of happiness. Is it worth it to risk everything that we have for a temporary moment of happiness????

All to often we have heard of those who have sold their souls to Old Nick just to acquire the shortcut to their camelot of sorts. As we all know, happiness and positive results demands a specific price.Nothing comes without us striving or struggling(paying the price).HOw much must we pay to get what we deserve.HOw much must we strive to safely say that we deserve a specific reward?

The term happiness comes often in conflict with jealousy. We are often irritated when some other people who have achieved their happiness when we have not.It seems to tear us from the inside out and churns our insides.Every little contact we have with the person or the specific entity would result in reactions of horrendous proportions. We are so capable of things constructive and destructive at the same time.In some cases, preventing someone from achieving happiness is also happiness to some people.

Irrespective of what you define as happiness as.IT demands a specific amount of commitment and sacrifice.Sometimes following what our hearts say does not guarantee happiness. All in all, meticulous planning is a prerequisite of the true happiness.Willingness for a person to forgo our deepest desires wisely would ensure that happiness keeps flowing and that we do not finally become a slave of yet another powerful master. The last thing a person would want is to ironically fall into the grasps of his own desires and dreams when he is actually trying to vent it out into the world of reality.

Stay happy guys

happiness to me is the sensation when our desires are fulfill. it can be very simple as being alive to very complicated things…like to dominate the world or sth..

the reason everyone is trying to achieve happiness?? well, refer to the terms of its opposite—-”sadness”, “frustration”, “depression”, “devastation”. would you rather be in that state for a single moment than to be in our “temporary state of freedom from our desires”??

regardless the fact that happiness is temporary, we human (or any living being) live based on senses…wat we see, wat we hear, smell,taste..and so on.being happy is just to stimulate your senses with positive effect. it does not necessary relate to desire.i can see a beautiful picute to and feel happy, or taste a food and have the same feeling. i feel happy when somebody give me something…i feel happy when i have holidays…so can u say that it comes from desire??

it’s good that our happiness is temporary…because if our senses are frequently stimulated with the same amount of stimulus…they will sort of “immune” to it and the same amount of stimulus won’t be enough to achive the level of happiness…that is when the desire for more comes in…it applies only to those who are constantly in the state of happiness…those who are never “sad” before.
when you fall from the state of happiness to te opposite one..u will realise how much it feels like to be happy…than u will want the happiness more than ever..

some stupid people think that by preventing others to achive happiness, they would be happy.but they often fail to get the sensation after achieving it…

there’s a chinese proverb called “happiness is simplicity” (or the other way round, means the same to me). as long as we keep things simple, we will be happy( because the threshold of achieving critical level of happiness is low, thus action potential is easier to achieve0

    When you are devastated,sad,frustrated.
Immediately, a desire to achieve an opposite state surfaces. When that desire is satiated,we achieve the temporary freedom of desires that I regard as happiness. This is ultimately correct as no one would shrug that desire off to dwell and rot in frustration or sadness.I do agree simplicity is happiness.Unfortunately, there are too little who abide by this.Human beings are like viruses. We are parasites. All organism achieve a balance with the other organism that they live with. But not human,we reproduce and increase in number, overpowering the grasp of nature over herself(Just like a T4 Bacteriophage). At the end of the day,we perish after burning out our resources and inducing competition among us.We are a people of desire. It is those who think beyond the norms, who will achieve true happiness…thanks for the comment Khailip
